Wellness Series: "Yes!" and "Amen!"

There are times when the soul is so vexed that you can’t see any way out. You are unsure about which way to go. That dark cloud of confusion corrupts our corporeality; and life seems all “messed up.” Corporeality is the place where our physical bodies are located here on earth. What is real is that you live somewhere, go to school or work somewhere, and go to church somewhere. It is the will of the soul to move your body to some real place upon this earth.
The question you must ask your soul-self is: “Is my soul flourishing where I am?” Flourish means to grow or develop in a healthy way as the result of a congenial (pleasant or happy) environment. As a youth, in a household with your parents or guardians, it may seem that you do not have a means to move out of an environment that may not be congenial to the wellness of your soul. You may be struggling with bouts of sadness, injustice or abuse; and you don’t see a way out of that oppression.
Let me tell you: SUICIDE IS NOT THE ANSWER. Suicide is taking your life and destroying it with the ultimate action of killing yourself. Murder is sentenced with your soul (who never dies) locked up in hell. And hell is a whole lot worse because it’s where the soul lives forever – WITH NO WAY OUT! Hell is real: It’s fire-hot with no water; it’s dark with no light, only smothering flames; and in some areas, it’s also ice-cold and blindingly black. Get this: Jesus took His own life and died for you so that you wouldn't have to kill yourself!

Health is enjoying a basic sense of well-being, even in times of adversity.1 Adversity is the opposite of congenial, and can be described as bad or unpleasant. Adversity can make the soul sick if you do not apply the antidote (the vaccine, the cure).
What is the antidote to adversity? SUICIDE IS NOT THE ANSWER—YOUR WAY OUT IS CHRIST CRUCIFIED! Your belief in Jesus’ death on the cross at Calvary and resurrection from death Easter Sunday makes you become the righteousness of God, the Father. Your right relationship, or reconciliation, to God makes you His child. As a child of God, you can speak to your Father in heaven through prayer:
The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16b). Note again (and forevermore) that righteousness must be in you for prayer to be answered. In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you (Isaiah 54:14). JESUS IN YOU AND LIVING A HOLY LIFE IS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. The first part of James 5:16 says Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.
In many cultures, to tell someone your trespasses means you are bringing disgrace to yourself or to the person doing it, especially if it is an elder who is respected in the community or church. Trespasses include not only the sin(s) you yourself commit, but anything or anyone that is doing something evil to you. Tell it! Don’t suffer any more. You don’t deserve to be mistreated, dear precious one. You deserve the love and mercy and redemption of God, our Father, through faith in Jesus Christ.
Get on your knees and tell Him everything. Then ask for a way out: Ask Him to reveal to you the person you can talk to, or the place you can go to be safe and secure in the love of Christ. The first thing is to take a step of faith in prayer. God will hear you, righteous one. And He will move mountains for you so that you can clearly find your way to the person or place He’s prepared for you. Trust in Him completely. He uses people to help you.
SUICIDE OF YOUR DREAMS IS NOT THE ANSWER. God revealed to me in a dream how wrong it is to think it’s o.k. to wait for others to excel while you stand back and let yourself come last. That’s false humility. Being humble means allowing God to direct your path to well-being as you wholeheartedly obey His instructions without fear of what others will say or do.
YOU ARE A CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD. HE LOVES YOU AND WANTS TO WORK EVERYTHING OUT FOR YOUR GOOD (Romans 8:28). Killing or deferring your life’s dream is stopping the purpose of God for your life. It is displaying a sinful nature and does not meet the righteousness of God: Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin (James 4:17). Force your soul-will to line up with God’s good will for your life. Now! It was for your GOOD that God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to the cross, making that day GOOD Friday.

Walking with Jesus is a lifetime Christian journey; and every believer in Jesus needs guidance, assurance, and help along the way. Has your soul placed your body in baptismal water? Has your soul subsequently been baptized in the Holy Spirit? Take Me to the Water and through the Fire is the dream God put into my heart and His Holy Spirit helped me to write, just for you, dear precious sons and daughters, to guide you successfully along your life’s pilgrimage on the narrow road to your heavenly home. This book is blessed with a Foreword of recommendation by Rev. Stephen Yenusom Wengam, one of the most valiant members of the Christian remnant.2
DARE TO DREAM BIG and rejoice always as you watch God put all the pieces together of your long life here on earth, your corporeality, into a beautiful tapestry of faith, hope, and above all things, His love (1 Corinthians 13).
I pray that the right people (the ones sent by God), the right opportunities (open doors by God), and the right path to take you to your divine destiny (with blessings from God) will come clearly into your life and meet you at the point of your need to flourish and be well. If you believe this prayer can become your reality, say, “Yes! (I agree) and Amen! (Let it be so)” (2 Corinthians 1:20).
